Dinosaur Discovery

What: Dinosaur Discovery: Lost Creatures of the Cretaceous
Where: Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre
When: 20th September – 28th January

Prepare for a close encounter with the most extraordinary creatures to ever walk the earth. Featuring more than 23 moving, life-size animatronic models of the Cretaceous period (145-66 million years ago), Dinosaur Discovery: Lost Creatures of the Cretaceous is like nothing you’ve ever experienced!

With more dinosaurs than ever before, including two monstrous Tyrannosaurus rex, the exhibition is an all-ages experience to remember. Step inside a meteorite crater and roam with dinosaurs using cutting edge augmented reality. Dedicated kids’ activities encourage discovery, with a centrally-located play zone, digital dinosaur.


Boat Show

What: Perth International Boat Show
Where: Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre
When: 22nd – 25th September

The Club Marine Perth International Boat Show is the major boating event in Western Australia. Held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre and Elizabeth Quay, the Show will take full advantage of the stunning Swan River location. New boat displays will be featured within the Convention Centre and on water at Elizabeth Quay; plus the Show will offer exciting attractions, entertainment and activities for the whole family to enjoy.



What: Telstra Perth Fashion Festival
Where: Murray Street, Perth, Western Australia.
When: 6th – 17th September

The Perth Fashion Festival has cultivated an international reputation for fostering some of Australia’s most sought after creative talent and showcasing Western Australian designers on a global stage.

The Telstra Perth Fashion Festival is an opportunity for Telstra to draw together and connect the many different parts of our business to promote and project the incredible talent of Perth’s fashion industry to the world. Each year will be bigger, better and brighter than ever before as we both share the same vision of creating a brilliantly connected future for everyone to enjoy.



What: Kings Park Festival
Where: Fraser Avenue, Perth, WA.
When: 1-30th September

The Kings Park Festival is a long-running tradition to celebrate spring and the wonderful wildflowers of Western Australia during this season.

The Festival will run from 1 – 30 September and will celebrate ‘Where the Wildflowers Are’. Western Australian wildflowers will form the stunning backdrop to a month long extravaganza of walks and talks, outdoor exhibitions, art installations and fun for all the family.

Whether you want to get back to nature, love art, are looking to upskill your gardening prowess at home, or just want to appreciate the beauty of Kings Park and Western Australian plant life, the Kings Park Festival is for you!

What: IGA Perth Royal Show.
Where: Graylands Rd, Claremont, WA.
When: 23th-30th September.

Not only is the Perth Royal Show a great family day out and a brilliant way to immerse and educate yourself in all things agricultural but, along with 100’s of exhibits, showbags and rides, it is also a great place to be entertained.

Only the Perth Royal Show could bring you an amazing array of over 55 live world class shows each and everyday for FREE.

Celebrity Speed Painter Brad Blaze and Master Illusionist Sam Powers will leave you speechless in the Entertainment Theatre.

Dockdogs will be making a splash next to the Family Fun Stage, which is where you can see the whip cracking comedy antics of the Crack Up Sisters or catch Leapin’ Louie, a wild west lasso-wielding clown, all the way from Oregon.

The Plaza Entertainment will be flying high as aerialists from around Australia will dazzle and amaze you with their dangerous tricks. The most dangerous being at 6.00pm where Sam Powers will attempt to escape from his death defying Jaws of Death.

If you haven’t seen a pig dive, here’s your chance. Racing and Diving Pigs will be at Gate 8. If Motorbikes are your thing don’t miss Eljay’s Freestyle stunt show on Amherst. Don’t forget to be on the look out for our giant Beach Patrol.

Make sure you are down on the Main Arena early on the last few days of the show to check out the Elders Invitational Camp Draft! Not to be missed!

This year on the Main Arena the Isuzu Team D-Max Precision Driving will have you holding onto the edge of your seats straight after the 1.00pm Grand Parade or again at 7.30pm. The Dance of the Drones will be a world first spectacle where dancers and swarming drones will finally meet and keeping with Royal tradition the Fireworks Spectacular will be at 8.00pm.
